USC Baseball Ranked #3 by Baseball America

Columbia, SC (WLTX) - South Carolina is ranked number 3 in the nation in the Baseball America preseason poll.

The poll results were announced Tuesday.

The Gamecocks come into the season as the two-time defending NCAA College World Series champions. The team is expected to contend again this year and will have three returning All-Americas: pitchers Matt Price and Michael Roth and first-baseman Christian Walker.

USC starts their season on February 17th.
