Richland County, SC (WLTX) - A Richland County deputies have arrested a suspect they say shot one man and wounded another.
Jabriel Singleton, 20, is in custody charged with murder and attempted murder.
Sheriff Leon Lott says he was found around 1 p.m. Thursday at the America's Best Value Inn at 131 Veterans Road in Richland County. According to officers, he was arrested without incident.
Investigators believe he is responsible for a shooting Tuesday afternoon on Prioleau Road near Hopkins that killed 24-year-old Dashawn F. Jones and injured another man. The victims were sitting in an SUV at the time of the shooting, investigators say.
The other victim reportedly is in critical condition.
Singleton is being held at the Richland County Detention Center.
