Columbia, SC (WLTX) - It is easy to jump online and start web surfing for a good deal on tickets.
"There are a lot of people trying to get rich off other peoples mistakes," said Jim Camp, Better Business Bureau.
But, Camp warns to be aware of people behind a computer screen.
"A lot of times through Craig's List or Ebay you are dealing with an individual through a website. You are really depending on the credibility of a person more so than the website," said Camp.
The Better Business Bureau says to avoid scams by being skeptical of:
1. Offers that sound "too good to be true"
2. Pushy sales tactics
3. Poor quality of merchandise
4. Offers that require wire transfer of funds
