WLTX, Gannett's CBS affiliate in Columbia, SC is looking for a highly motivated journalist, with both reporting and photojournalism skills, to join our team. Applicants should have good news judgment, strong writing skills, and solid on-air performance skills along with photography and editing experience.
You'll shoot and edit using the latest lightweight technology and have the opportunity to showcase your strong storytelling ability. Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and regularly contribute story ideas for on-air, online, and social networking. 1-3 years experience is preferred. Must have a valid driver's license with good driving record and be flexible to work any assigned shift. Journalism and/or Mass Communication degree preferred.
