Nate Stewart joined the WLTX team in February of 2010 as a multimedia journalist. He shoots, writes, edits, and reports live.
Nate started his news career at WCBD in Charleston, SC as a photojournalist. Nate has experience from production and editing to photojournalism and reporting. Nate enjoys telling unique local, community driven stories and has a passion for breaking news.
Nate is not new to Columbia; he graduated from Heathwood Hall Episcopal School in 2000 then went on to graduate from Auburn University. While his roots may be dipped in garnet and black, Nate just may be the biggest Auburn fan in the state. His favorite game in all of college football is the USC VS Auburn game when it comes back on the schedule every few years.
You can usually see Nate live in the studio or out in the field in our 5pm, 6pm, or 7pm shows Monday through Friday.
